Track, Measure and Improve CPR training.
SimPad PLUS with SkillReporter facilitates real-time feedback, records data and calculates overall performance for thorough training and debrief on CPR performance. It can be used for wireless control of up to 6 QCPR manikins simultaneously. An instructor can instantly identify and guide a student struggling to perform Quality CPR.
We’ve made improvements to the SimPad platform and are now offering SimPad PLUS with SkillReporter, which includes the same easy setup, intuitive operation, and integrated debriefing PLUS faster startup, and enhanced Wi-Fi connectivity.
SimPad SkillReporter has been replaced by SimPad PLUS with SkillReporter as of October 2016. Software and replacement parts for SimPad SkillReporter will be available until October 2021.
Easy to understand, real time feedback
SimPad PLUS with SkillReporter software provides comprehensive, easy-to-use feedback for enhanced QCPR training. During training the operator will be able to monitor the following metrics for up to 6 manikins simultaneously:
- Compression rate and depth
- Correct release for each compression
- Correct hand position
- Frequency and length of interruptions
- Appropriate ventilation volume
- Automatic and manual annotation of key events during CPR simulation
If required, training can be run in Assessment Mode so that no live feedback is given but data is recorded for the assessment debrief.
User friendly and tailored debriefing that highlights areas for improvementSimPad PLUS with SkillReporter calculates an overall performance score, and summarises areas for improvement, from the data obtained during training.
Detailed data can be accessed easily from the performance summary so that precise feedback can be given in the areas where improvement is needed. This flexibility enables trainers to provide tailored feedback for each student to learn and improve CPR performance.
In addition to all feedback and debriefing functionality, SimPad PLUS with SkillReporter allows instructors to:
- Manage the cardiac rhythms for live defibrillator use.
- Control AED Trainer 2 and AED Trainer 3 remotely (via the Laerdal Link system)
- Adjust limits and thresholds for compressions and ventilations (European Resuscitation Council (ERC) / American Heart Association (AHA) Guideline presets included)

Laerdal ShockLink

ShockLink allows you to connect live defibrillators to training manikins, creating more realistic BLS and defibrillation training.
Connect ShockLink to training pads and a standard defibrillator to begin training. The shock energy from a defibrillator is defused in the ShockLink cable.
This solution means that you can train on most manikins, removing the need for specialised defibrillator training manikins with chest-studs or a load box to absorb the shock.
ShockLink Pediatric Rhythms
The ShockLink app has been redesigned to include rhythm and scenario selections for “Adult”, “Child”, and “Baby.”
ShockLink connects most commonly used defibrillators to the majority of current CPR manikins or simulators, providing a comprehensive solution for realistic and standardised training.
During a scenario, different teams can easily train together as you can swap between different defibrillators efficiently.
With ShockLink, you no longer need to purchase a specific training model for your AED or a new CPR manikin, which reduces the cost of implementing live defibrillation training.
ShockLink can help you integrate most defibrillator models and brands into the training environment. However, you will need an adapter unless you are using one of the Philips defibrillators that will work out of the box with ShockLink. For example, a Zoll adapter is required to connect Zoll defibrillator models to the ShockLink device
ShockLink can provide users with various levels of training capabilities, depending on the controller and manikin setup.

To simply prompt changes to the simulated heart rhythm to be displayed on the defibrillator/AED, you can use the ShockLink remote control (no pediatric rhythms) or the ShockLink app (pediatric rhythms included.)

Combining an AED Skin/LINK Technology manikin with a professional-grade QCPR feedback controller provides a fully integrated experience. In this setup, rhythms will automatically be sent to the defibrillator/AED when pads are placed correctly, shock information is included in QCPR feedback (real-time and post-event), and rhythms can be selected with the controller: TeamReporter or SimPad PLUS with SkillReporter.

For more advanced capabilities using more advanced simulators with LINK Technology/AED Skins, ShockLink can also be controlled with LLEAP software on SimPad PLUS.
Rhythms included with ShockLink:
- Sinus (SR)
- Brady (Sinus Bradycardia)
- Supra Ventricular tachycardia (SVT)
- Ventricular Tachycardia (VT) Slow
- Ventricular Tachycardia (VT) Fast
- Ventricular Fibrillation (VF) 0.1 - 1 mV
- Asystole
- PEA

Product benefits:
Educationally effective by offering all the essential features necessary for learning adult CPR, defibrillation and defibrillator pad placement
Affordable training through increased hands-on practice by allowing higher student-to-manikin ratios
Realistic anatomical landmarks provide the essential features necessary to teach quality adult CPR and defibrillation techniques
Logistically convenient lightweight design makes the AED Little Anne Training system easy to transport
Additional instructor flexibility through unique control of the scenario by use of the remote control unit
Durable construction allows unequalled long-term use
* Internal compression testing has shown no product degradation after more than 1 million chest compressions at a depth of 2 inches
Product features:
Oral and nasal passages allow realistic nose pinch required for mouth-to-nose ventilation
Natural obstruction of the airway allows students to learn the important technique of opening the airway as in a real-life situation. This teaches how to effectively administer air to the patient. Abdominal thrusts can also be practiced
Head tilt/chin lift and jaw thrust allow students to practice correctly all maneuvers necessary when resuscitating a real patient
Realistic airway function means that the airway remains obstructed without proper head tilt/chin lift or jaw thrust maneuvers. Chest rise is seen with correct ventilations
Anatomically correct landmarks and sternal notch allow the student to practice identification of all anatomical landmarks relevant to adult CPR
Audible feedback reinforces correct compression depth. An optional "clicker" feature signals correct compression depth
Realistic resistance for chest compression allows the students to experience the amount of pressure needed to perform proper chest compressions in a real-life situation
Proper pad placement is required in order for the AED Trainer 2 to advance in the scenario
Performance feedback provided via realistic voice prompts from the AED Trainer 2 and LEDs on the manikin chest skin.
Voice prompts match the live FR2 AED defibrillator
LEDs illuminate on the manikin to allow comparison of ideal pad placement and accuracy
